At My Dental Home, the family (our team) led by Dr. Kevin F. Brown is dedicated to providing comprehensive care, in an historic, Victorian heritage home. Don’t let the quaint decor fool you. Although built in 1885, the house is packed to the rafters with current technology, such as Cerec 3D restorations, Intraoral camera, Panoramic X-ray, EDI, Digital 2D & 3D x-rays and digital impressions (no more moulds needed!)

My Dental Home has a wealth of history. Enjoy the comforts of home while experiencing the technology of the 21st century. The Sabiston family originally occupied it in 1885. Children were raised in the home and family life was celebrated within the bricks and mortar.

My Dental Home has a wealth of history. The Sabiston family originally occupied it in 1885. Children were raised in the home and family life was celebrated within the bricks and mortar. After graduating from the University of Toronto in 1984, and associating in Scarborough, Dr. Kevin Brown decided to establish roots in Markham, by opening a dental office at a nearby plaza in 1985. It became apparent that he required more space in order to better serve the patients. He was thrilled to discover Sabiston Heritage House and devoted much time and effort to transform the historical building into a modern dental office while preserving the heritage appeal. Dr. Brown moved into My Dental Home in November 1998. The team also includes restorative hygienist, Ron Ventura as well as a host of friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated team members.

Dr. Kevin Brown is delighted to welcome you to MyDentalHome.
Since graduating from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, he has always placed a great amount of pride and emphasis on continuing education. He has attended such courses as Millennium Aesthetics, and Cerec 3D (use of CAD/CAM computerized dentistry) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Brown is the Chair of Mediations, for the York Region Dental Society and enjoys the many meetings, networking with other dentists to improve dental health for Ontario citizens.

His dedication to sports is evident and Dr. Brown encourages all athletes to wear custom fitted mouthguards. When not at MyDentalHome, or attending courses, Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with his wife Teena and their four children, Amy, Colin, Lukas and Emmalee. He is a sports enthusiast who can be seen participating in the Unionville Men’s Hockey League, Skiing, Wakesurfing, Golfing and Kickboxing or enjoying the Haliburton Highlands. He has been designing smiles for over 30 years in the Markham area and would love to see your smile.

Dr. Alan Wu graduated from Bachelor of Medical Science with distinction from Western University before moving across the globe to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Melbourne in Australia.
Dr. Wu is passionate about providing comprehensive, holistic dental care that is personally tailored to his patient’s needs. He has a strong interest in preventative, aesthetic and restorative dentistry and is well known for his friendly personality that makes patients feel right at home. He is always seeking to further his dental knowledge and skills with continuing professional education to learn the latest advancements in dentistry and to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered to his patients.
In his spare time, Dr. Wu enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also loves playing volleyball, hiking, eating out and travelling around the world.

Education
After earning his Bachelors degree in Economics from University of Toronto, he realized that his true passion came from helping others, so he returned to school and graduated from the George Brown College School of Dental Health Denturism Program with honours in 2005. He has had the opportunity to give back to the profession by teaching at the college as a clinical instructor. Ricky has a strong interest in Implant dentistry and treatment of Sleep Apnea.
Practice Philosophy
When you are missing several or all of your teeth, your quality of life will inevitably suffer. Ricky’s first goal for your care is to get you back to chewing your food comfortably and speaking with ease by designing a treatment plan that suits your personal needs. What he particularly likes about being a Denturist is the ability to create an experience that results with you feeling not only that your dentures are functioning the way you want them to but that they also help you smile and speak with confidence.
Personal Life
When not helping people fall in love with their smiles again, Ricky enjoys cooking, travelling and the outdoors with his wife and kids. His active lifestyle includes playing tennis, hiking, mountain biking and skiing.
